Required Documents for those applying for new Submitter ID's
The following documents are required enrollment documents that must be completed, signed and returned to the FL Medicaid office prior to initiation of electronic claims submission or inquiry.
1. Electronic Data Interchange Agreement (now only available within the FL Medicaid Provider Portal)
- To access the new EDI Agreement, visit http://home.flmmis.com and log into the secure Web Portal using your account credentials
- From the secure Web Portal landing page, select Providers, then below the Providers option, select demographic maintenance
- From the Provider Informational panel, select EDI Agreement

We can now process 276/277 requests (claim status). If this is a transaction you would like to utilize please make sure to enroll with the payer.

Electronic Data Interchange Agreement
- Please select the first option to indicate you want to submit or receive electronic transactions to/from Medicaid
- Check the box for 837 Health Claim Institutional if you bill on a UB-04
- Check the box for 837 Health Claim Professional if you bill on a CMS 1500
- Enter your contact information
- Check the box to agree to the terms then press Save
- You will then see the message displaying your new Trading Partner ID (Please write this down as you will need to provide it to your SolAce representative)
Once you have your Trading Partner ID, please then register for a Ramp Manager account which will be used for testing
- Go here: Welcome to Florida Medicaid Community Portal
- Press "register" on the left-hand side
- Check the box to agree to the terms
- Complete the rest of the form with your contact and demographic information
Testing
Once you have received your FL Medicaid Trading Partner ID and have the Ramp Manager Login ID and Password, please call the SolAce Support Team and set an appointment for a Mailbox setup and Test Transmission.
Please have 25 test claims ready for testing. Test files should consist of a variety of claims that represent the type of claims you will be submitting once production status is achieved. Test claims will not be processed for payment but will be validated against production files; therefore, they must contain valid patient procedure, diagnosis, and provider information.
